Catch “American Idol” ’08 & ’10 Kelly Caruso on a new episode of the Bongo Boy Rock n’ Roll TV show starting this week on Comcast Cable.

Kelly Caruso, who grew up in Pittstown, Hunterdon County,
New Jersey has just released her first single on the Bongo Boy Record label. We caught up with Kelly and learnt during the TV show interview that Kelly has been singing since a very young age, and made it twice to Hollywood as an American Idol, first on season 7 in 2008 and again on season 9 in 2010. She also tells us that her father, Mike Caruso bass player of the legendary 60’s Garage band The DOUGHBOYS, has been and still is a very important influence to Kelly’s music career. She talked about her great great great uncle opera singer Enrico Caruso and her experience about being an American Idol in Hollywood.

Her first single “Born Dainty” written and produced by veteran musician Gar Francis is making a great impact in the music scene. Two weeks after its official release the single has been placed in a movie about the Nashville Derby Girls, premiering at the Nashville film festival next
month. Radio stations are playing the single and Kelly also tells us that her cover band Garden State Radio has been touring all over the country at various night clubs and casinos to packed houses.

“Born Dainty” is a modern country rocker shows off an incredibly powerful voice that would give Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood or Miranda Lambert a run for their money.
The Bongo Boy Rock n’ Roll TV show is hosted by Wayne “O” Olivieri and produced and directed by Monique Grimme. Recorded at SHOWTIME Boutique in Belvidere, NJ and airing twice a week on Monday’s and Thursday’s night at 7:30pm. SHINE ON new EP by Garage Rocket Gar Francis

"SHINE ON" new EP by Garage Rocker Gar Francis.

Gar Francis sounds effortlessly vintage-cool as he again proves what rock & roll sounds like from where it truly originated - the garage. "Shine On" is the new EP from
singer/songwriter/guitarist/producer Gar Francis. Gar indeed shines his musical
talent through "clouds of pink majestic skies" as he uses lyrics like
"baby boomers sit back and take view, graffiti masters Peter Max tattoos".
Yes, music world "Shine On" is here and with all the psychedelic rock coolness you would expect from a rock & roll veteran.

Produced by Gar Francis and Kurt Reil at the House Of Vibes. It's undoubtedly a brilliantly consistent EP. It is obvious these five tracks are not only TV/film-synch ready, but a must have in your music collection.

"Shine On" is here and with all the psychedelic rock coolness you would expect from a rock & roll veteran. "Shine On" the new solo EP from Doughboys guitarist Gar Francis continues with that 60's Garage Rock sound that we have come to know and love so well.
